Sitrep:

Michigan is currently hotter than hades.
camped last night near Toledo on lake erie, woke up with a tick the size of a face hugger from aliens looking at me. Thankfully being contained by the mesh on my tent.
From my brief scouting of the course you need a bike that's part cx bike part fat bike. Mucho sand, smooth trails.
Predicted temps tomorrow are over 90 again.

10hr30ish, forgot to stop my garmin.

I'll take that with zero training, a crappy diet lately, some very hot weather and a bad bonk on lap two Very Happy

Well done! 10+ hours in those temps sounds rough.
