Thanks for looking,
Dan

For sale is my 2010 Mongoose Boot'r Team. The bike was purchased in May 2010 and was raced 5 weekends by a 19-29 Cat 1 rider. The bike was also ridden a couple of freeride days to get everything dialed in. It has not been abused and is in overall good shape besides the standard blemishes from riding, lifts, transportation, etc.

The bike pedals great, is fun to jump and likes to go fast. The rearward axle path eats up rocks and keeps you moving forward at slow speeds, the floating BB is hardly noticeable and is no worse (probably better) than a standard single pivot that drives your feet down and forward through compression. The overall quality and craftsmanship of the frame is up there with other production frames, chances are its made in the same factory anyways. I've experimented with a longer lower link and a Works -1.5* reducer headset, so you can dial in the geometry to your liking, whether it be the stock 64.5*, extended link only 63.5*, angled headset only 63* or extended link and angled headset 62.5*/62* (currently setup with link and angled cups and sits between 62* and 62.5*). In my opinion this bike is second to none and Mongoose is well on their way to being recognized as a top of the line manufacturer by.

If the bike is not sold before the August 21/22 Plattekill race, I will probably be there. All are welcome to take a look at the bike or try it out if they are seriously interested in buying it. Please let me know ahead of time if this is your plan.

Asking:

  • $1,500 for frame, fork and extras
