The jumps got Destroyed last night. The big berm is melted down to waist level in some places. There are ruts everywhere.
Good diggin out there boys. I hope it stays this wet tomorrow. If not there is a lake in the middle of the pump track. I left it there for you guys tomorrow. I also marked the deepest bucket filling spot.
There is a small dam holding the water from draining, remove it when your done.
I vegged out last night on some ride monkey whilst listening to the rain smash down on the roof.
I decided to take CMC's idea of progressive rollers into the pump track today.
I started with the first roller, shaved it down, and rounded it out.
The second roller was already long enough, just a bit pointy so I took it down a bit too so its taller and longer than the first.
I piled all of that dirt onto the third (double style) roller and the fourth into the Berm.
Tomorrow, the third needs to be capped with good soil, the center filled into almost a table. Use the good dirt.
The fourth needs the center filled in to almost a table, maybe a little more roller in the middle than the third and capped with good soil.
These last two should not really be pumped but manualed so, not to deep of a divit in the center eh? fill 'em in good.
That's all I got in, the place took a SEVERE BEATING last night It'll take a full day to get it straightened out. I would recommend if possible timing your day to be there until dusk to prevent Groms from destroying your work.
I think I buried my phone out there, I realized it was missing while I was out there and I can't find it anywhere. I am going back right now with the wife's phone to see if i can find it.
Maybe I'll sneak a few shovels in on the third big landing.
Oh yeah, I left a message with Jose this morning about the key and haven't seen the phone since..................I'll call him tomorrow.
ANYONE GOT HIS #?? _________________ Build what you ride |

Don't be sad.
I repaired the third lander. That shit is STEEEEEP.
It started raining as soon as I got there so fuck it I threw some dirt.
I patched up the first lip too.
I probably exaggerated the seriousness of the situation.
Prioritys (aside from prior mention)should be fixing the berms('member how we built the top of the pump track berm THICK? That berm is unscathed as usual) and lengthining the NEW pump track rollers, as they are a bit pointy. Good height tho.
I was sad to see the roll ins we smoothed out all rutted again and all the drain troughs need to be filled in again too.
Oh yeah, No phone, damnit. _________________ Build what you ride

I choose to be happy.
The rollers were to pointy and I had a conversation with Rob yesterday about that thread and the need for them to be more mound like and longer/wider for pumping so it is good that it rained and you got started. We will try and finish up today. I have to get there midday'ish and hopefully can stay later. |

That's great that you worked on the big jumps. Maybe we can make more quick progress on that too, since the digging should be easy/fast.
