A couple of us will be at HB tomorrow morning from say 10am for a few hours. We plan to sweep the runs, get a good jump session in then pack the lips so that they are in good shape for the weekend crowds.

do it, the jumps are running great today and it is shorts weather up there right now.
We swept them and rode them and that's all. Looking pretty good.
Need to do a proper day to fix some stuff but good to go right now. |

yeah it is getting good and people are starting to check it out more.
double edged sword however since more traffic means more maintenance.
got some ides for the pump track I would love to get done before I go away and H&F starts. |

I'm thinking clearing out all that rag weed at the end of the expert line and keep the flow take over another few acres that line is nice by the way. love the quick turns leading to jumps. pump track could use work it needs to lead into another line to add interest flow stops going up hill. but its alot better than before with the sawed off drop in. if we could bridge the gap over the drain and manhole cover and start the pumptrack from the top and loop it from there it would be a hit amongs kids and adults alike _________________ fuel for the fire |

too be honest you lost me but all ideas are welcome since everyone sees different lines and rides differently.
Lets walk it out when we are up there next.
Monday could be on the cards after the damage scheduled for people riding in the wet this weekend |

Sounds like Cosmo's idea is exactly what we had in mind- a return line of sorts from the existing pump track up to the start deck with an option for looping back into the beginner line.
No need even to fill in the ditch- it can be done with some clever bermage. _________________ "Ugly or pretty, it's still my city.

It already is. I've seen a couple riders (Jim D, Aaron Chase) gap from the end of the beginner line into the pump track over that ditch.
But yes, for normal people we'll work out a return line that's all roll-able. _________________ "Ugly or pretty, it's still my city.

it is sort of mapped out and we know what we want. Just need another full day on the shovel to start to shape it.
Next work day it would be great to have two wheel barrows so we could work on two different projects effectively.
I want to make the line up the side so fun to pump along that no one goes down the middle anymore to help reduce collisions. |
