Simon and I did 3 hours of work with Chris's tools.
Dirt was perfect for digging today! That .5" of rain made it easy to scoop up all the runoff clay from the areas around the jumps.
We got a lot accomplished, even without a wheelbarrow.
- We reinforced the first 3 large jumps on the sides and the lips to combat erosion.
- Added a little dirt to the trannies of jumps #1 and #2, as they were eroding and getting too vertical.
- Filled in jump #3 so it looks less like a double, and reinforced it.
- Re-cut drainage gutters before all 5 large jumps.
- Built-up the "double roller" after berm #2 so it's more of a kicker - should be easy to air that prior to hitting the jump #5.

I think Chris will be out there tomorrow (Saturday) and myself, Joey, maybe Simon and Andrew will be there on Sunday.
dig your part fellas! Only a month before frost shuts down our shovels until April.

Excellent Rob!
All of that progress is from two people and good conditions(tools, motivation, moisture).
It don't take much to keep up a place, Just periodic maintenance.
Hope to see some folks on Saturday RAIN OR SHINE!! _________________ Build what you ride |

Looks good. I checked it out today and shot some pics I'll put up later. Talked to Trombly for a while about future directions, figured out a location for the box, etc... _________________ "Ugly or pretty, it's still my city.

Yeah- we talked about it today. Skolnick and I had scoped the same thing in the spring when they started working on the invasives in there. It's going to be a process for us to get approval for that, though- probably wouldn't be able to do anything until next spring at the earliest- but we will definitely propose it.
In the short term, lets focus on building a return line from the pump track to the jump start deck. Think of the pump track as the "beginner" zone, the current beginner jumps and return line will become the "intermediate" zone.
Drainage issues with the jumps are another important thing to work on. I like that little roller after the first berm, with the drain trough on the inside. There's actually a drain in the middle of the berm, but it appears to be clogged... _________________ "Ugly or pretty, it's still my city.
