Thanks to Campmor for sponsoring another year of the H2H Series. Race 1 will be at Blue Mountain. Start Training Now.
A few things for next year. We are going to aim to keep the average race times in the following ball park.
Cat 3 / Beginner Average 45 minutes
Cat 2 / Sport Average 1:20
Cat 1 / Expert Open Pro 1:50
The series and our race has tended to lean more towards an endurace event race then a traditional MTB race. We are hoping to attract more beginners and have the event be a little more FUN for a ll involved.
Another change, and this is not final START TIMES......
We are looking to go Cat 2 @ 9:00. Cat 3 @ 10:30. Cat 1 @ 11:30. This could change. Stay Tuned !!!!!
We will have a special SWAG for the first 100 registered. The race will be up on BIKEREG by midweek.
Hope to see you all there.

Exciting stuff. I'll have to schedule a "business trip" to NYC that week then hang around for the race... _________________ "Ugly or pretty, it's still my city.

"Rider Back!"
I bet that's a typo, although it would be AWESOME if the beginners were on an entirely different (and easier) loop that was a bit more kid-friendly. Blue is a killer race course, in every sense of the word. _________________ "Ugly or pretty, it's still my city.

| So who else is in for Sunday? I'm doing cat 2, 35-39. Was riding there monday and tuesday evening, it's a great course. Fast and a good mix of tech and climbing / descending. |

Hoping to race yep, haven't ridden a bike since Hopbrook Dam though.
I might look to go ride a few laps on Saturday to take a look at the course. _________________ Rolling on 29", 650b, 8.3" and 23mm

I am on solo dad duty this week so hoping to make it along with kiddo to see her first MTB race with camera in hand. I'll post up if I snap any nycmtb shirts. _________________ Mojo is back |

I was planning to race, but no sure how the weather is going to turn out, and since I've been riding road so much I think I'm softening up and becoming scared of a little rain.
If I decide to go, I'll also be leaving the city around 9am for the CAT1 start and will have room for 1. I'll confirm tonight. |

| I'm new around here, so forgive me if this answer is somewhere else. Is this race rain or shine? If not, when would it be called due to weather? Thanks. |

It's rain or shine - sometimes a course might be modified due to rain /erosion concerns but I haven't seen one cancelled. |

Matt if you've got room I'll take a ride up with you on Sunday?
I'm going to head up in the morning for a few laps as I've not ridden there in a while. _________________ Rolling on 29", 650b, 8.3" and 23mm |

Got out for a couple of laps today as I'd not ridden at all since Hopbrook. Tough course, it's going to be brutal if there's a lot of rain falls on the dusty trails turning them to soup. _________________ Rolling on 29", 650b, 8.3" and 23mm |
