check out steephill.tv
It has a listing of various feeds for the tour and other races- and be sure to check out the Sirotti pictures (some of the best in the business). |

I say no, it was Shlecks mistake. He shifted badly while standing and applying power. _________________ Rolling on 29", 7.1" and 23mm |

I like the old unwritten rule that says you don't attack the yellow if there is any sort of mechanical.
Contador said he didn't know about the mechanical...hmmm. Don't you wonder why you blew by him as if he were standing still? _________________ Nathan Kraxberger

Crap. Just typed a long post and iphome lost it.
Anyway the gist was:
Versus iphone app on wifi = good. On 3G = crap.
Contador = douche but will likely win.
I'm cheering harder for schleck now.
John - if contador knew it was schlecks own fault thats one thing but if he didnt know what caused his biggest rival to suddenly stop....hmmmm _________________ Mojo is back |

Leave it to Contador to find ways to get people to dislike him even when he wins. He's got a near Lance-like ability to do that.
Will Andy Schleck be the Poulidor to Contador's Anquetil? Only time will tell... _________________ "Ugly or pretty, it's still my city.

"Regardless, the Tour will not be won by a few seconds- and while AC and Andy Pandy seem evenly matched on the climbs, the TT will widen the gap by a much larger margin."
Time to eat my words...num, num, num...mmm

The way Andy's rear tire lifted tells me that it was more than a dropped chain. It sounds more like a limit screw on the rear derailleur that had the chain dropping b/t the cog and frame, therefore seizing the chain and causing the rear end to lift. All that sounds good, but I never saw him pulling on the chain like it were wedged, so i'm not sure. _________________ Nathan Kraxberger

I forgot - it's le tour, which means Lemond crawls out again.... regardless of the truth (or not) in Landis' claims, someone please just tell Lemond to shut up.....

Lemond must be hating the fact that Floyd took the yellow jersey for Lance-bashing, so he's going to fight to get it back.
What's Lemond going to say to investigators? "Frankie Andreu told me that Lance told him that...". That'll be incriminating... _________________ "Ugly or pretty, it's still my city.

Apparently so

Furthermore, to a certain extent shifting a bicycle is even more crucial to winning the Tour than sleeping, so if Schleck's mechanical was due to a lack of finesse rather than an equipment failure is it not appropriate that Contador should benefit from it?

Need finesse to control that power!!
Anyone see video of jens voigts crash? Front blowout at 70kph sounds nasty. He was philosophical about it - "this time last year i was in hospital". _________________ Mojo is back |

Greg was on the money calling out Lance for doping long before Landis came out and told the truth about what really went on at Armstrongs team- Lance deserves the lightning rod for all of his cheating and re-starting the doping revolution after his first tour win. He has done some great things in his fight with cancer, but as a racer he did nothing IMHO.
Schleck- he uses a modification (the Bernal cage- AC uses it as well...) which in essence is home made. I wonder if that had anything to do with "chain gate" |

If lemond is right then fair enough, but so far it seems that its the boy crying wolf.... If lance was/is dopin then he deserves the same treatment as anyone else, but lemond is in danger of losing more and more credibility each time - he just sounds like a whiner.
As for landis - i'm still a (naive?) optimist at heart and hope its just sour grapes, however my head says maybe I'll be proven wrong at some point.....
Who knows. And who needs soap operas when the tour is on. We've had crashes, fights, kissing and making up. All we need now is a marriage and we'll be all set. _________________ Mojo is back |
