Interesting - all the teams qualified and finished in the same order. And the top five teams all went slower in the final than quals...(I knew that I did and have the bruises to show for it..)
Respect to Ghostship clothing - two great times. _________________ Mojo is back |

Jamie,
Thanks again for such a great event. It was a pleasure to take part and enjoy the day with everyone!
My 'final' time was slower for I botched [really bad] the first switchback coming up the XC route. Went too wide again and couldn't muscle up the rock on the outside (line was the inside line). Had to dismount and run through that turn. Cost me some time.
I actually felt better, and stronger, on the final run but the numbers don't show. The seed run I had to stop at the last turn by the DH course for three BMX kids where standing on the trail. Yet I still beat my time from last year by over a minute. Sure did surprise me!

Must have been all that Himalayan climbing last month. You were on fire, Doug!
You're right about the inside line being the good one up that switchback. Swing wide early to avoid that lower rock, then cut it back tightly for the inside line! _________________ "Ugly or pretty, it's still my city.

Jamie
Thanks much for hosting a great race! We'll be headed back up to Highbridge in May to ride the jumps.
Take care.
