NYCMTB Highbridge All-City XC Race July 6th, 2008!
This year's installation of the Highbridge All-City XC race features a longer course, stunning "forgotten NYC" terrain, fast and fun trails with wicked singletrack, and a unique mountain bike racing experience that you won't find anywhere else in North America. Last Saturdays at the Highbridge Trails
Come out to the Highbridge jump park at 9 am on the Last Saturday of every month to give back to the trails with a morning of trail building/maintenance and an afternoon of riding. For beginners, we're running a guided beginner skills ride at 9 am concurrent with the trail building- learn to ride the trails in a supportive environment. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers. Summer Sprint Race Series
Interested in racing but intimidated by the big organized XC races? Dedicated to racing and looking for a way to get more of your fix than the weekend races? The Collective's "Seasons" NYC Premiere!

Highbridge Hustle & Flow Race April 26th
Where lycra and body armor meet. Check out the inaugural edition of the Highbridge Hustle & Flow race- a tag-team-time-trial-relay pairing XC and Road racers with DH, Super-D and pump track aces. Highbridge Trails Beginner Ride

Join us this coming Saturday, June 16th, for a beginner/intermediate skill-building ride through the Highbridge Park trails. Enjoy a tour of the trails, and practice building skills over technical trail features under the tutelage of our experienced guides. Meet at 9 am at the lower trailhead near the corner of Dyckman Street and Nagle Ave. This event is part of Adventures NYC.

Be a part of history and race the first-ever mountain bike race in Manhattan at the brand new Highbridge Park trails on Sunday, May 20th. Enjoy a unique course that winds through the Fort George Hill section of Highbridge Park over terrain that was once home to a revolutionary war fort and a turn-of-the-century roller coaster. The Highbridge trails grand opening was a huge success. Thanks to all who made it a fantastic event!

 

NYCMTB Jerseys Are On Sale Now!
Limited edition 2007 NYCMTB XC and Freeride jerseys are on sale now at Sids Bikes (34th street between 2nd and 3rd Ave), NYC Velo (2nd Ave between 3rd & 4th Street) and Gotham Bikes (West Broadway between Duane and Reade). These won't be reprinted, and once they're gone, they're gone! The ultra-high-quality jerseys are made for us by Verge Sport. The XC jerseys feature 3/4 zippers, elastic pockets on the lower back, raglan sleeves and a slightly relaxed "club" fit. The freeride jerseys feature v-necks, raglan sleeves with no elastic cuffs, and a loose fit suitable for trail riding or downhilling.

Highbridge Trailbuilding Success!

NYCMTB and CLIMB hosted 300 volunteers from Outward Bound, The Green Apple Corps and JP Morgan for a lightning round of trailbuilding at Highbridge. Yes, THREE HUNDRED volunteers building legal mtb trails in NYC...
